Library, player and iPhone app are running
81 %
Filing, analysis, backup and a player of its own in the browser are in place; the iPhone app is being tested via TestFlight.
Done
- Inbox with fingerprint, MusicBrainz, cover and tags, a review list for uncertain matches, a fixed folder structure
- Match and take over an old collection of MP3 copies
- Find, compare by ear and clean up duplicates
- Analyse BPM, key and ReplayGain at night
- Nightly backup to Nextcloud
- Web player with queue, stars, shuffle, repeat, lyrics and download
- Smart playlists by BPM, key, genre, stars and more, playable in Tonregal itself
- Take over songs from Tonwerk-AI into the library with one click
- New versions install themselves as soon as nothing is running
In progress
- A full-screen player in the browser like in Tonwerk-AI and the iPhone app, with lyrics, a sortable queue and stars on the phone too
- The iPhone and iPad app in testing via TestFlight
- Clean up the processed old collection with one button, only what is provably in the library
Planned
- Playlists, offline playback and CarPlay in the iPhone app
In a few days Tonregal went from an empty repository to a library that is actually in use. Listening now happens in its own player instead of someone else's app; Navidrome only works in the background, counting plays. Every change to the iPhone app lands in TestFlight as a new build automatically after the merge.
