From picture to moving figure, now in English too

Uploading or painting pictures, converting them to 3D and moving them with a skeleton all work; the interface is now also in English, with a selectable colour scheme.

Done

  • Upload pictures and cut them out automatically
  • Have pictures checked by Gemma
  • Have pictures painted from an idea, with three image models to choose from
  • Convert to a textured 3D model with TRELLIS.2, view it in the browser and download it as GLB
  • Add a skeleton, with test moves in the browser and as animations in the GLB
  • New versions install themselves as soon as no job is running
  • The interface in English, with a switch and the browser's language as the default
  • Colour scheme light, dark or following the system, selectable and remembered

Planned

  • Server messages and error texts in English too

In two days 3d-o-mat grew from its first line to a site that turns a photo or an idea into a figure you can move. As of today the interface is bilingual: all texts are in German and English, Gemma answers in the chosen language, and the colour scheme can be switched just like on this site. Only the server's messages are still in German.
